There are no standard sweater sizes and every dog’s body is shaped differently, so we recommend measuring your dog for the perfect fit.

Measuring Tips: Use a soft tape measure, pulling the tape snug but not tight. The chest girth is the most important measurement and should be taken around the widest part of your dog’s chest, from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the ribcage. For the back length, measure from the bottom of your dog’s neck to the base of his tail.

Note: If your dog is extra furry, we recommend sizing up. Similarly, if your dog is between sizes, we recommend going up one size for comfort and freedom of movement.

Beautiful, but runs small.
Mine has always worn a medium. Livy is a Cavapoo and weighs 17.2 pounds for reference. This one definitely runs small. I’m going to return it and get a large. Maybe mine was just sized incorrectly, so I’m hoping if I get a large it’s not way too big!

Lovely, but my dog didn’t fit the size
Very beautiful, well made sweater. My dog is 37 lbs, fits within the range for the measurements for a Large size (24 inches around, 21 inches long), but it is fairly tight on her across the chest, under the arms, and doesn’t cover her whole back. In comparison to the dog photos of the product, she has much less hair and is smaller, but just doesn’t fit the same. I am afraid a larger size will be too big though. I think I may just order a bigger size after payday and then keep whichever doesn’t fit for a future pet or gift it to someone else.
