I LOVE this collar so much.
The only complaint I have is the hardware on the collar scratches really easily which I kind of expected and am not really sure how to avoid that issue. Other than that it’s really such good quality, has a good weight to it, and the velvet is so soft and looks so good on my husky. My dog is 41 lbs and the medium fits him perfectly with room to grow. Will definitely purchase from this place again.

a beautiful collar but not for 8-10 lb dogs
It is a beautiful collar and exceptionally well made. My dog is a chihuahua / Beagle mix , or thought to be. She weighs 8.5 lbs. Properly sized for her, the collar would need to be 10" long from buckle tip to buckle tip. I had to double so much of the material to get it small enough that the collar was way too bulky and uncomfortable , rather than being the soft collar I had imagined. I cut the collar and took the brass adjuster and excess material off. I'm hoping I can find a shoe repair store with the commercial machine to stitch the cut end to the collar. I bought the smallest size. I wish you made one smaller. If it were a side buckle collar, it would be even more comfortable for the dog. You do beautiful work and I'm glad you're in business.

There are no standard collar sizes. As a result, we strongly recommend measuring your dog's neck to ensure the right collar size.
Measuring Tips: Measure your pup's neck with a soft tape measure, pulling the tape snug but not tight (if you don't have a tape measure, use a piece of string and then measure the string with a ruler). Allow sufficient room to slip two fingers between the collar and your pup's neck.
