Dog Sweater Size Guide

There are no standard sweater sizes and every dog’s body is shaped differently, so we recommend measuring your dog for the perfect fit.

Measuring Tips: Use a soft tape measure, pulling the tape snug but not tight. The chest girth is the most important measurement and should be taken around the widest part of your dog’s chest, from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the ribcage. For the back length, measure from the bottom of your dog’s neck to the base of his tail.

Note: If your dog is extra furry, we recommend sizing up. Similarly, if your dog is between sizes, we recommend going up one size for comfort and freedom of movement.

Love this sweater for my boy pup, Islay! The color is perfect for him and the quality is exceptional!
Because he has the mini schnauzer standard grooming with a furry underbelly, I may need to size up. Still on the fence about that. (The website does include a recommendation to do that if your pet is furry but I missed it the first time.) But either way, The Foggy Dog gets 5 stars from us on this sweater. I will be purchasing more!
