Beautiful, but not made for XS dogs.
Here’s the thing. I think the harness is gorgeous. I also bought the matching collar. BUT… this is not made for extra small dogs. I purchased the XS and it’s too large for my 5 pound pooch. I decided to keep it because I loved the hot pink color and gold hardware so much and it looked really good on her apricot coat. I wish they had another gold clip added because getting it on and off is a hassle. Don’t buy this if you have a dog that doesn’t like to sit still and hates to sit still. This item in general is just not designed for extra small toy dogs. The weight alone is a lot for a little one to carry. This set will be our only wear out for a few hours special occasion set.

Dog Harness Size Guide
There are no standard harness sizes and every dog's body is shaped differently, so we recommend measuring your dog for the perfect fit.
Measuring Tips: Use a soft tape measure, pulling the tape snug but not tight. The chest girth is taken from behind the front legs, around the widest part of your dog's chest. The neck measurement is taken from the widest part of his neck (harnesses sit much lower than collars, so this will be different from your dog's collar size). Remember to allow sufficient room to slip two fingers between the harness and your pup’s body.
