I ordered what I thought would fit my 8 month old Cavalier king charles spaniel puppy who weighs 12 lbs, but the collar seems too small even on the largest setting. It's really pretty on her, but I will have to find something else for her soon. So sad, as I love the flannel and colors which match her Blenheim coat..

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re so glad you love the flannel and colors of the Pumpkin Spice Plaid Collar, but we’re sorry to hear the XS is already feeling too small for your pup. Because there are no standard collar sizes, we strongly recommend choosing a size based on your dog’s actual neck measurement rather than weight alone. Our XS fits necks 8 to 11 inches, while our Small fits necks 11 to 16 inches.
Since you mentioned your pup’s weight but not her neck measurement, we’d recommend measuring around the neck where the collar naturally sits to help determine the best fit. If she’s at or above 11 inches, the Small would likely be the better option.

I have purchased 8 collars (approximately 1/year for 2 dogs for the last 4 years) from Foggy Dog. They have all been high quality and I love the designs - I get a lot of compliments on them! I love the engraving option because I don't have to worry about dog tags (less noise, too!). The outer fabric (with the design) has ripped on a few of the collars after over 1 year of heavy use (I'm talking lakes, hikes, beaches, you name it) but the webbing/structural fabric underneath NEVER has and to me, that's key. My dogs are rather prey driven so while they rarely pull, if they are enticed by an animal they have really put these collars to the test and they've held up every time. And, as icing on the cake, they donate to animal shelters with every purchase!
