Our lighter-weight Petite Leash is perfectly sized for smaller dogs (up to 40lbs). Bigger pups will do best with our sturdy Standard Leash, made for extra control.

Petite size:

  • Rope diameter: 5/16"
  • Weight: 5.2oz
  • For dogs weighing up to 40lbs (note: because of the smaller clasp, we do not recommend the Petite size for dogs over 40lbs)

  • Nylon exterior, polyester interior
  • Hardware: zinc alloy
  • Hand wash in warm water with mild soap. Air dry.

Shipping Info

  • Orders without personalized items ship in 1-3 days
  • Personalized items require an additional 3 days. Please note: expedited shipping does not reduce production time for personalized products
  • Orders ship once all items are ready (no split shipments)

Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns within 30 days of the original ship date for items in brand new condition, with original tags, and free of pet hair and odor. Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment (excluding original shipping fees).

We want the perfect fit for your pup. That's why we offer a Right Size Guarantee, with one free exchange for a different size for non-personalized apparel and accessories.

    Perfect so Far!

    I’ve been using this for only a few days and so far I love it. I love how adjustable it is. It’s not the most comfortable for putting over my shoulder or waist, but I like the material better than the other leashes from FD. I LOVE the clasp on it. I had an older leash that broke after maybe a year, so this one seems much more secure.
