Dog Jacket Size Guide

There are no standard jacket sizes and every dog’s body is shaped differently, so we recommend measuring your dog for the perfect fit.

Measuring Tips: Use a soft tape measure, pulling the tape snug but not tight. The chest girth is the most important measurement and should be taken around the widest part of your dog’s chest, from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the ribcage. For the back length, measure from the bottom of your dog’s neck to the base of his tail.

Note: If your dog is extra furry, we recommend sizing up. Similarly, if your dog is between sizes, we recommend going up one size for comfort and freedom of movement.

Tartan Reversible Jacket is a WIN
I hadn’t purchased any dog clothes in ~2 years as the sizing at many retailers is inconsistent and never large enough to fit my pup comfortably. After getting fed many ads and browsing the website for months, I finally took the leap to give The Foggy Dog a try and it did not disappoint! The quality of this jacket exceeded my expectations and is truly a perfect fit! I ordered the XXL and my dog is 80lbs for reference. The button snaps allow for easy on/off access and the pocket on both sides serve as the best poop bag holder for our walks. He gets so many compliments because I mean, look how handsome! Will definitely purchase from TFD again!
